July Gardeners Meeting

7/10/2013

Getting ready for your fall planting starts now… We will be discussing getting your beds ready for fall planting including how to solarize. Solarization is a method of killing not only insect and pest but viruses such as the ones we have encountered with nightshade crops such as our tomatoes this past season. The plastic for solarization will be available at the meeting. A two cubic foot bag of Cotton Burr compost a 2 cubic feet bag is available for each bed. This compost will enhance your nitrogen levels in your garden bed & enrich your soil. We will instruct on how to apply at the meeting. Be sure to attend.

This is one you do not want to miss!
